Description
Universe in My Eye
At its center, darkness holds—not as absence, but as gravity. A quiet cosmos spirals softly, stars tracing memory and motion within the pupil. Light radiates outward in concentric layers of gold, pink, and blue—consciousness unfolding, emotion exposed, depth without edge.
Along the inner rim, symbols drift like thoughts: flowers, hearts, delicate fractures of feeling. Love, loss, tenderness, becoming. They orbit without urgency, held in balance, allowed to exist without explanation.
The form is unmistakably human, yet vast. An eye that does not judge or demand understanding—only presence. To see, here, is to witness the full weight of interior life: the beauty and the void, inseparable.
Painted in 2008, Universe in My Eye captures the moment awareness expands beyond the self—when looking inward becomes an act of courage, and everything you are finally fits inside your own gaze.
