Candice Liberty is a lifelong artist, writer, and the proud owner of Torn Arts Tattoo, Gallery & Studio. With over 22 years of tattooing experience and 20 years of painting, Candi has dedicated her life to the art of self-expression. She specializes in cover-ups, full color pieces, and portrait work—bringing creativity and precision together to transform ideas into uniquely customized tattoos.

Candi’s artistic journey began in early childhood with writing and drawing, later expanding into tattooing and painting as a young adult. She started her career under the guidance of her brother, renowned tattoo artist Archie Wood, at Battle Born Tattoo in Reno. Her path then led her to Miami Beach, where she honed her skills at the world-famous Tattoos by Lou in South Beach. Returning home to Reno, she founded Torn Arts in 2013, creating a space that celebrates artistry in all its forms.

In addition to tattooing, Candi is also an accomplished painter and published author, releasing her book Wonderful Me in 2014. Her passion for art, storytelling, and individuality continues to inspire both her clients and the creative community around her.
